My first ’encounter’ was an audio recording at Mildred’s Lane, although I remember in 2020 having a conversation with my roommate

at the time, Jaylon, which were called Robins and which were Cardinals. I believe he and I kept changing our minds during the conversation, so at some point, we both had thought Cardnials as Robins. This whole conversation came about because there were dozens in our back yard feeding on the mullberries that had fallen from the tree that autumn.
